Mahindra has announced that the 100 BHP, mHawk100 engine will now be available across all variants of the TUV300. This engine was first available only on the top T10 trim, and now all variants starting from the T4+ will have this motor under the hood. The updated TUV300 will be available across all Mahindra showrooms and prices begin from INR 8.02 lakhs for the T4+ variant & INR 8.59 lakhs for the T6+ variant. (ex-showroom Mumbai).
Variants which will now come with the new 100 BHP mHawk100 engine are – T4+, T6+, T8, T8 AMT, T10 & T10 AMT.
This mHark100 motor is a 1,493cc diesel engine with 2-stage turbocharger producing 100 BHP of power @ 3750 RPM and 240 Nm of torque between 1600 – 2800 RPM matched to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.
Mahindra is also introducing 2 new body colour options in dual tone – red + black & silver + black along with the older combinations such as black, silver, red, orange & white. For additional personalisation, Mahindra will continue to offer the Endurance Kit & Luxury Edition Kit for the TUV300 SUV.
Mahindra first launched the TUV300 in September 2015. Although it faced harsh comments thanks to the boxy design, this SUV with its practicality has found many buyers ever since and sells in decent numbers as per segment standards. Mahindra has since launch sold over 60,000 units of the TUV300 in India. The TUV300 is also the only SUV in the compact SUV segment to come with an AMT gearbox.
Also, no other compact-SUV is offering a 7-seat layout in our market.
The Mahindra TUV300 measures 3995mm in length, 1835mm in width, 1839mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2680mm.
