All Citroën cars in India will get 6-airbags as standard, but not NOW!

French car manufacturer, Citroen has announced that the brand will start offering 6-airbags as standard. Furthermore, Citroen revealed that starting from the H2 2024, (July), all Citroen vehicles in the Indian market will come with 6 airbags as standard. In addition to this, the brand will also offer rear seatbelt reminder and ISOFIX seat anchorage, as standard features across its range and variants.

Citroen Standard Safety Features 6-Airbag System

The six airbags include – 2 front airbags, 2 side airbags, and curtain airbags on both sides. Thanks to the all around system the safety of the passengers in the vehicle will increase. In event of an unfortunate collision the 6 airbag system will be capable of providing comprehensive protection to the occupants. This also aligns with the brand’s safe mobility ambition and its commitment to meet the evolving needs of road safety.

Citroen Vehicles in India

In India, Citroen offers four vehicle models – e-C3, C3, C3 Aircross SUV and the flagship C5 Aircross SUV. Recently, Citroen introduced the C3 Aircross SUV Automatique in  the Indian market. The SUV with the automatic transmission comes with a starting price of INR 12.85 lakh ex-showroom. The C3 Aircross AT comes with both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations and a best-in-class luggage volume of 511-litres.

In addition to this, Citroen also recently upgraded the e-C3, electric car variants. The e-C3 now comes with a new Shine variant with Shine, Shine Vibe Pack and Shine Dual Tone Vibe Pack. The all-electric e-C3 Shine comes with a starting price of INR 13,19,800 ex-showroom.

Citroen 100% Online Buying

Citroen offers its cars through 58 La Maison Citroen Phygital showrooms across India. The Phygital showrooms are open in 53 cities across India. In addition to this, customers can also buy Citroen cars online from the factory along with a doorstep delivery, through Citroen’s 100% Online Buying Program.
