At the Auto Expo 2018, Honda revealed the 2nd generation Amaze compact-sedan ready to hit the Indian market. We all know that this new product is all-set to be launched next month, and Honda has now opened bookings for the new Amaze for a booking amount of INR 21,000. This new Amaze will replace the older model, and looks far more better in comparison.
The highlight of the new Honda Amaze is going to be the fact that it comes with a diesel + CVT automatic gearbox. This will be a first for Honda in India. The 2nd generation Amaze is built on an all-new platform, and makes use of all-new parts and nothing looks shared from the older model.
When launched, the new Honda Amaze will rival the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Tigor, Ford Aspire & Volkswagen Ameo.
With more than 2.57 lakh customers for the old Amaze since 2013, Honda is confident that the new model will do even better. The new Amaze will continue with the 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options. Honda Amaze was also the first car from the brand to come with a diesel engine.
