2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift new design leaked

This source website probably has an insider working at Maruti Suzuki, getting all the scoops on new cars before they’re seen anywhere else. The 2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift has been caught on camera for the very first time without any camouflage. The Baleno facelift is due to hit the Nexa showrooms from Maruti Suzuki by mid-2019, after the launch of the all-new Wagon R which is slated for this month.

Spyshots of the front end design reveal all the changes, but the side and rear profile are currently not to be seen in all their glory. For the front end design, the 2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno will get a restyled headlamp with new LED DRLs but similar projector headlamps probably with HID or LED, new front bumper, reworked front grille with chrome accents, new fog lamp housing and new air dams. For the side profile, we are only expecting new design alloy wheels on the 2019 Baleno. At the back, expect a reprofiled bumper, new badging if at all, new chrome accents and reworked tail lamps.

Powering the Baleno facelift for 2019 will be the same 1.2L petrol and 1.3L diesel engine options. It is unclear for now if the Baleno will also benefit from the SHVS technology for the diesel trim. However, this will make it more expensive, but then, the feature will give it an edge over competition. The Baleno petrol already comes with an automatic gearbox option, and the facelift is expected to offer an automatic gearbox on the diesel trims as well.

Feature list on the Baleno is already extensive, so expect a few additions if at all Maruti Suzuki opts for.

The Baleno has been a consistent top seller in its segment right from the day of launch. The 2019 facelift will most probably run till the 2022 before an all-new model is rolled out.
