The new Mini Countryman just like other Mini products has now grown in size. It offers more real estate on the outside, and on the inside. The brand claims that it is now more suited for your long journeys and weekend getways to the countryside.

The Countryman now for the first time has the Cooper SD diesel engine in India which produces 190 HP of power and 400 Nm of torque. The other petrol variants, the Cooper S & JCW Inspired come with a 192 HP motor and 280 Nm of torque. New headlamps with LED DRL surrounds, new LED tail lamps, new grille, new alloy wheels, new floating roof pattern, chunky roof rails, more body cladding, chrome weather strips and other such cosmetic changes make the new Countryman look different compared to the older model. Also, the 2018 Countryman, in its 2nd generation avatar is 20 cm longer, 3 cm wider than its predecessor making it the roomiest and most spacious Mini yet.

Although the interiors look familiar, the cockpit has been reworked, circular infotainment display, new AC vents and AC controller, reprofiled seats and space for 3 at the back make the Countryman a luxurious product as per segment standards. For practicality, you have 450L of standard boot space with a 40:20:40 split rear seat.

With the Mini Excitement Pack, one can get LED interior ambient lights and projection of the Mini logo on the driver side on the outside via the ORVMs.
