2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift launched for INR 40 lakh

Mercedes-Benz has launched the facelift version of the C-Class luxury sedan in India at prices starting from INR 40 lakh. The new car also comes with a BSVI compliant engine options. The 2018 C-Class with a diesel engine is introduced in 3 variants – C 220 d Prime, C 220 d Progressive and C 300 d AMG Line priced at INR 40 lakh, INR 44.25 lakh and INR 48.50 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.

Cars will be available across all Mercedes-Benz showrooms from Q4 of 2018. Since the very first time that it was launched in our country, the C-Class has managed sales over 30,500 units.

Powering the C 200 d variants is a 2.0L, 4-cylinder motor producing 194 HP of power and 400 Nm of torque matched to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The C 300 d AMG Line is powered by a 2.0L motor producing 245 HP of power and 500 Nm of torque matched to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. While the C 200 d sprints from 0-100 kmph in 6.9 seconds, the C 300 d does that one full second faster.
