It all started with the Honda CBR250RR, and things have been shaking up in the quarter litre sportsbike segment ever since. While the new baby Ninja has been spotted on test multiple times on international soil, Japanese sources have released a new rendering of what the new model could look like, and we hope this turns out to be true.

The latest rendering highlights:

  • New sharp front fairing
  • LED headlamps
  • Sharp rear view mirrors
  • Small windscreen, ends just above the handlebar level
  • Sharper fairing
  • Contrast painted chassis
  • New rear styling
  • New exhaust
  • New alloy wheels
  • Better seats
  • USD front fork

Previous rumours that the new Kawasaki quarter litre would be a 4-cylinder motor have been dismissed. The bike will carry forward the 250cc & 300cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled setup, but tuned for better performance, efficiency & meeting the emission norms.

In India, we only have the Ninja 300 on sale which was recently updated for BSIV emission norms. The bike continues to be the most expensive quarter litre sportsbike here in India.
