The KUV100 is Mahindra’s introduction to the sub 4-meter passenger car segment. Introduced as a hatchback crossover, it is doing fairly well when it comes to sales. The car comes powered with a 1.2L petrol and diesel engine options delivering 82 hp / 115 Nm and 77 hp/190 Nm respectively. Mated to 5 MT, petrol motor claims to deliver 18.15 kmpl while the diesel motor claims 25.32 kmpl.
With sales averaging close to 5,000 units a month, the KUV100 is Mahindra’s bests selling vehicle as of now, overtaking the likes of Bolero, Scorpio, TUV300 and XUV500.
Now, for 50,000 INR you can get an Xplorer kit attached to your KUV100. This kit will include silver cladding on the front and rear bumper, Xplorer badge in the headlight cluster, silver cladding on roof rails and side skirt, bold body cladding, roof finished in glossy black and faux air intakes in the front. At the rear, the kit will add black plastic cladding to the roof spoiler, tail lights, while the rear windshield gets a glossy black border.
People who have already taken delivery of their vehicle can also get the kit attached at their nearest dealership.
The KUV100 Xplorer was first revealed at the Auto Expo 2016.
