Honda to hike car prices from January

Honda Cars India is slated to increase the prices of all the models in its product range (Brio, Jazz, Amaze, Mobilio, City and CR-V) starting from January 2016.

Honda plans to increase the prices of its cars by RS. 10,000 – 16,000 per vehicle. The reason for this is increased input cost and depreciating value of the rupee. This adversely affects the company revenue.

Honda will be joining other manufacturers like Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota, Skoda, Mercedes-Benz and BMW in the price-hike race. All these companies have said that the prices of its vehicles are said to be increased next year. The market condition is extremely volatile and the fluctuation in input cost is hampering revenue for these companies.
