Renault Logdy will not get a petrol engine

Renault will launch the 7-seater Lodgy MPV in India in the coming weeks.

Now, more details emerge closer to the launch date which suggest that the Logdy MPV will not get a petrol engine. The MPV segment is more inclined towards diesel engines, and a petrol motor makes very little sense.

Powering the Logdy MPV will be the same 1.5L K9K diesel motor in two states of tune, just like the Duster. The lower variants will get a 84 BHP version while the higher end variants will get a 108.5 BHP version matched to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

There are no plans to introduce an automatic variant in the immediate future as well.
