Rs. 4,000 crore Mahindra facility coming in Tamil Nadu

India’s #1 utility car manufacturer, Mahindra is looking at setting up a new production facility in Tamil Nadu.

This new plant will be utilised to produce future products for the brand. Mahindra has proposed to invest up to Rs. 4,000 crore for setting up this facility. This funding will be infused in two stages and will be spread across seven years.

Tamil Nadu government has promised to allot 255 acres of land at Cheyyar in Kancheepuram district for this new plant. Also, this would be the largest production facility for Mahindra in the country.

Products being developed here will be for domestic sale as well as exports.
